Tonights Menu! (Saturday June 11)

Tonight the Floating Cafe sails on over to Hawaii where Dave and Karin will be cooking a variety of tasty treats. Here is menu:

Appetizers

Spam and Pineapple Pizza
Kahlua Pork Sandwhiches
Salad of butter lettuce, spinach, papaya, mango, and avocado with a honey lime dressing.
Pina Colada with mango puree

Main Course

Dave's Hawaiian Plate Dinner (Macaroni salad, pineapple fried rice, chicken katsu, macadamia nut encrusted mahi mahi)

Dessert

Coconut sorbet with mango bread and pineapple

Welcome to The Floating Cafe!

Begun in March 2005, The Floating Cafe consists of a group of friends that come together monthly to enjoy food from another country. Each month a different household prepares a complete menu representing a specific country or type of food. The guests supply the beverages and a celebration ensues! This blog represents the collection of recipes from our monthly dinners as well as other memorable occurences.
